Brazilian medicine. Aché Pharmaceutical Laboratory has the grant to produce and commercialize a
medicine developed by Medtopic, a company in the field of molecular biotechnology. China has also
granted the first patent to a medicine developed in Brazil, which prevents epilepsy attack, developed
by the Brazilian doctor Luiz Eugênio de Araújo Mello, Pro-Rector of graduation of Unifesp-
Universidade Federal de São Paulo (São Paulo Federal University).
Other important pieces of information for your business are highlighted in this edition: the
Due Diligence, a service that assures the good conveyance and signals the health of the company,
is a practice rarely used by Brazilians but it assures the fulfillment of good businesses.
Read more about the losses caused by piracy: today, Brazil is the
4th biggest victim of piracy in the world. On the other hand, the Country reached the mark of one million trademarks
registered, despite the problem of INPI's (Brazilian Patent and Trademark Office) shortage of funds.
More information is brought on this edition.
And for a more comprehensive reading, one article written by journalist Claudia Izique
